Puntos cardinales
40 × 30 cm
Mixed media on cardboard
“Puntos cardinales” is a study of direction, balance, and quiet movement. Composed of an oval divided into eight hand-drawn blue segments, the piece creates a subtle rotational rhythm, as if the form were slowly turning or shifting in space. The small red circles placed at the four cardinal points anchor the composition, giving it orientation and a sense of grounding.
This work connects to the recurring themes in my practice: geometry as language, color as atmosphere, and the quiet systems that help structure perception. Here, direction becomes a visual introspective idea and a way of mapping stillness, movement, and center.
